Our Mission

FortiNet Events is an independent events calendar and news aggregator for the information security community. The name combines "forti" (strong) and "net" (network) with "events" — reflecting our focus on building strong connections across the security industry through shared knowledge and gatherings.

We maintain a comprehensive, vendor-neutral calendar of cybersecurity conferences, summits, workshops, and training programs worldwide. Our goal is straightforward: make it easier for security professionals to find relevant events, track CFP deadlines, and stay informed about what's happening across the industry.

What We Cover

We track over 1,200 security events across 45 countries, including major conferences like RSA, Black Hat, and DEF CON, along with regional BSides events, SANS training, vendor summits, and specialized workshops. If it's relevant to information security professionals, it belongs in our calendar.

Our news coverage focuses on the conference circuit itself: speaker lineups, schedule announcements, CFP openings, notable research presentations, and broader trends visible across multiple events. We don't try to be a general cybersecurity news outlet — plenty of those exist already.

Editorial Policy

FortiNet Events is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any cybersecurity vendor. Event listings are based on publicly available information and our own research. We do not accept payment for event placement or rankings.

Our news coverage and analysis represents our editorial perspective. We aim to be accurate, fair, and useful. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently.

Conference names, trademarks, and logos referenced on this site belong to their respective organizations. We list these events as a public service to the security community.
